Ideal for playing dice games

dice games can be fun to play if you are not on a board game. Almost everyone has a pair of dice somewhere around the house and there are many fun games to play.

Here are a few.

1. Zilch

Zilch is my favorite game of dice to play, because it gives you to be aggressive, or what have allowed more conservative. The more aggressive you are, the higher the chances are that you get a high score, but the chances are higher that you get nothing at all, and notpoints that turn. It 's just fun to see who has the best of luck and who made the highest score.

2. High Rollers

I'm sure many of you have heard of the TV game show that high rollers will still be used. The game show was a dice game that I'm pretty sure that the show was invented. It allows you to roll the dice and remove a number between 1 and 10, in the hope that you are going to be able to all numbers, or at least most of them.

It can be fun for groped luck, will be disposed of asmany as you can, then give to someone
each other and see if you can beat.

3. Poker Dice

Another great game of dice you can get is a poker dice. Normally you would need to use special nuts (which are very difficult to find). But you can also use regular dice. You can adjust the cube using the 6 ... King of the Ass 5 1, the ninth

Just roll the dice and see who put themselves in a position where the best poker hand. The hands are the same as poker,The only exception is the road to full houses are higher but not more than 4 of a kind.

These are just some of the best games of dice, playing the can.

Bakugan Games

Looking for the sizzling gift this holiday season? Well, seek no farther than Bakugan Battle Brawlers. This action-packed game seems to be the game sensation taking our nation by storm. It is based on the popular Japanese anime television show. Just as in the cartoon, the game is chock full of wham, pow, slam type excitement that is guaranteed to provide lots of battle brawlin' entertainment.

This is really a 2 person game. Each player has a team of three Bakugan Brawlers and each should be trying to become the first to seize three gate cards. It is that simple! The battlers sit down opposite the other on the floor or across any smooth surface for example a table. They each pick a gate card then lay those gate cards between the brawlers so the two cards are touching. Now the younger of the battlers chooses a Bakugan Battle Brawler and after that rolls it similar to a marble towards the gate cards. Now, the entertainment starts!

A Bakugan Battle Brawler is a smallish sphere until it lands on a gate card. If it does, any gate card leads to the Bakugan Battle Brawler's sphere to open revealing the Brawler inside. When a couple of Battle Brawlers get on the same gate card they fight it out until one finally wins. The player who owns the successful Bakugan Battle Brawler takes the card in question and, as well, gets to go earliest in the subsequent round. These rounds go on until just one battler has won enough brawls in order to get 3 gate cards. Once that is established then a winner can be declared. Its fast fun until that happens and it isn't always easy to know who will win.

As you'll find more than one hundred alternate playing pieces available, no two games are ever alike. Who wins the overall game all depends on what Bakugan Battle Brawlers you select to play with and after that which game pieces ones opponent chooses to play alongside of yours. Players can speed up those already exciting games by purchasing the Bakugan Battle Arena to play within and also by using a Bakugan Launcher in order to target your playing pieces better during the game. There is even the neat Bakugan Collector Case in order to keep those Battle Brawlers in whenever you're not actively playing. How hip is that!

This is one of those games that provide hours of fun for everyone that plays. It is also cool to collect the different pieces. Make one of your children really happy with this gift under the wrapping paper. OK, are you willing to go at it? Now make sure you pick up your Bakugan Battle Brawlers right now! There is still time.

Board Games of the World - A History

Today we have a wonderful heritage of board games from across the world. People have been inventing and playing board games for millennia. These games have evolved over the ages and exist today as an incredible store of information and fun for all. One of the oldest games is the ancient Egyptian game of Senet which dates back to about 3500 BC, and an example of a game invented recently is Pente, was designed by Gary Gabrel in 1978.

Many games reflect the competitive activities of their time such as races or the tactics and strategy of warfare. This can be seen in games such as Backgammon or Chess. Backgammon evolved from the ancient Roman game of Tabula, a race game between two players.

The game of Chess has its origins in northern India around 3000 BC as the game Chaturanga. This is a Sanskrit name meaning four parts and refers to the division of a platoon in an Indian army in Vedic times into four parts, an elephant, a chariot, three horsemen and five foot soldiers. Chaturanga was introduced into Persia as the game Shatranj and from there spread westwards through Islamic expansion to Spain (Ajedrez) and then eventually become the modern game of Chess. Ethiopian chess called Senterej is also derived from Shatranj. Chaturanga also spread eastwards and evolved to become Chinese chess XiangQi and Japanese chess Shogi. Other eastern variants include Thai chess Makruk and Burmese chess Sittuyin.

Chess has many interesting variants including Farmer's Chess or Gala which still played in some farming villages in Schleswig-Holstein in Germany. Gala is played on a 10 x 10 board which has four 4 x 4 sections called castles and each player has two Kings or Galas. Circular Byzantine Chess is played on a 16 x 4 circular board.

Another interesting predecessor of modern international Chess is Courier Chess. This game, also called Kurierspiel, is a southern German variant played on a 8 x 12 board. Lucan Van Leyden the great Dutch renaissance painter and engraver of Leiden gave us the famous painting, The Chess Players in 1508 at the age of fourteen. This painting depicts a game of Courier. This painting formed part of the Kaiser Friedrich Museum in Berlin and in 1945 narrowly escaped destruction during bombings raids before being moved to Merkers salt mine near Erfurt and recovery by General Pattons Third Army. The village of Strobeck near Halberstadt in the Hartz Mountains possesses a Courier board presented to the village in 1651 by the Elector-Prince Frederick William of Brandenburg. The game is named for one of the more powerful pieces, the Courier.

Mancala is these days the name given to a family of board games played throughout Africa, the Caribbean, India and south-east Asia. These games are usually played on wooden boards with two, three or four rows of holes carved into them. Sometimes these games are played in a set of holes scooped in the ground. The counters used for these games include stones, marbles, seeds, beans, cowrie shells or small lumps of dung. Mancala is an Arabic word meaning to transfer and comes from the way the player sow the counters into the holes. Mancala games have the most diverse set of names of any board game; there are hundreds of different names for the game of Mancala. The game originated in Africa and spread through Bantu expansion and then to south-east Asia by Arab traders and to the Caribbean by the slave trade. Examples of these names include Warri (Caribbean), Oware (Ghana), Maruba (South Africa), Tsoro (Zimbabwe), Gabata (Ethiopia), Layli Goobalay (Somalia), Pallanguli (Sri Lanka) and Chongkak (Malaysia).

There are many other fascinating games that can provide hours of entertainment or form the basis for Social studies projects to bring to life the games, customs and language of other cultures. Other interesting games include Backgammon, Bashne, Brax, Bizingo, Bul, Checkers, Draughts, Fanorona, Go, Konane, Ming Mang, Mu Torere, Reversi, Shashki, Zamma and Zohn Ahl.

How to Copy PC Games

If you are wondering how to copy PC games you should get to know the different types of software out there than can help you do this. If you know your game disk is going to get scratched, you will want to have a backup copy of it. Maybe you want to transfer the contents of your downloaded games to a new computer. We will be taking a look here in this article on copying your game and some of the details involved with a successful backup.

Your PC or laptop has the ability to burn discs and copy PC games more than likely. You can burn off files and music, but do you know how to burn off a game? Your Windows operating system has lots of abilities and there is no doubt gaming is getting to be a popular feature of this system. Imagine the pride you will get from cranking up your newly burned game on your computer and realizing you now have the ability to do this instead of asking someone else to do it for you.

You will be able to copy DVD ROM games and also CD ROM software. Your game should say DVD-R or CD ROM somewhere on it. For your destination disk, a four gigabyte blank disc should be big enough for you to copy your game onto. To start, you will need to open up the software you are using to copy the game. The type of software and who makes it is an important part of this process of learning how to copy PC games. Many are out of date.

The next step to copy PC games is to create a new folder on your computer. You can name the new folder whatever you want. Put your game into the disc drive on your computer, open up the game copying software you are using, and copy the game to your computer into the new folder you made using the program. When this process is complete, your screen should have a popup window telling you that it had success in copying the game. When the copying is complete from the disk to your computer, you can take out the game disk and go to the next step.

To get the files from your new folder with the game in it to your computer you will need a new blank disk. Put the disk into the DVD slot. Go to "ISO write" in your game copying software. You are looking for the ISO image in the folder where you copied the game earlier. Now find the place in the copying software that says "write". Write the game from your folder to the blank disk you have in the computer. It will begin burning the game to the blank disk. You can find other games on your computer and try to do the same style of copying. You may have success with them also. When it is done you should see a window telling you that you had success in putting the game on your new disk. Once you see it, you are done! You just successfully copied a game from one disk to another.

As most people know, this is for you to make your own backup copy. If you try to sell other people's video games you could get in trouble so be careful. You do not want that to happen, so use your software for good purposes and stay out of trouble when you copy PC games.

Here we covered how to copy PC games and the tools needed to do it. If any of this sounds confusing or you would like to find a good highly rated program that you can use to copy your games, take a look at my site by clicking the link in my resource box.

The Best PlayStation 3 Games For Christmas 2010

If you are not a gamer yourself, then buying PlayStation 3 games as a gift for someone this christmas 2010 may prove to be a confusing business for you. There are so many thousands of games out there that you could be getting - how do you know which ones to go for? Well, hopefully this article will be of some use in helping you to sift through the bewildering range and pick out the best one for your loved one that they will really love to receive as a gift from you.

Here are my top 3 choices, based on the PlayStation games which are widely predicted to top the bestseller lists for christmas shopping this year, and on my own opinions about the quality as well.

Call of Duty: Black Ops - There always seems to be a call of duty game out just before christmas to fully capitalize on the biggest sales period of the year, and they always come at or near the top of the best seller lists. This year will be no different with the release of 'Black Ops'. This is a first person shooter game, and if you are buying for a teenage boy that likes games where you shoot people, then this is undoubtedly the game they will want this year.
Gran Turismo - If you are looking for something a bit less violent then Gran Turismo 5, or GT5, would be an excellent choice. Its a car racing game, it's great quality, and it the fifth in an incredibly popular series.
Little Big Planet 2 - If you want something for a younger child, or for the whole family to play together, then this is set to be the number one game of 2010.

Flash Games - 10 Ways To Make Money From Creating Them!

If you like creating flash games for fun or as a hobby, why not make money out of it? I have made a few flash games and I thought why not make money out of them. So I did! I will tell you 10 ways to make money out of them in this article.

First of all, the software you use to make games is Adobe Flash. It does cost quite a bit but is worth every penny if you know how to maximise it to its full extent. You can look for tutorials on other websites to learn how to make games such as Flashkit. On my website, I release video tutorials on how to do something in flash, every once in a while so check that out sometimes.

All right now to get down to business, the scenario is you have made a great flash game that you want to make money from.

1. You could get the game sponsored by another games website. This means that the other website will pay you money in exchange for putting their logos and links in the game. You might be thinking why would they do that, well it's because people who played the game might go on their website through a link and so the other website could earn money from ad revenue or other means. The amount you get paid depends on how good the game is so it could range from $50 - $2000+. Different websites pay different sums of money, their website usually contains information on how much they pay. Some sponsors are ArmorGames, CrazyMonkeyGames and FlashRage. This way is a definite way of getting some money for your hard work.

2. If you have your own website, then in your game, link to your website so you get traffic to your website after you have submitted to some game portals like Newgrounds. On your own website put some advertisements on so when visitors come from through the game, they might click on ads earning you more money.

3. On your game you can put advertisements from Mochi ads in so each time a player plays the game, you earn ad revenue. Mochi ads are The World's First Ad Network for Casual Games and right now they are accepting only some developers so you can apply now and get in line. Even, if your game is placed on other websites, the ads still show so you still get money.

4. Some games websites offer contests and prizes for the best submitted games such as Newgrounds. Check them out every once in a while for new contests. This way usually offers a higher amount of money (depends on the contest hosting by the website) than sponsoring a game, however, if you don't win you might not get any money.

5. Some websites also offer some of the ad revenue from their website if you submit the game to them. This is a great way to get some cash for your game. Some websites that offer this are GameGum.

6. If the game is played a lot by many players, then some websites will pay you quite a lot of money for a non-exclusive license, which means they put their logo on the game but unlike sponsoring, the copy of the game is only allowed to display on their website so you can sell a lot of non-exclusive licenses if the game is good enough.

7. If the game is extremely brilliant and is played a lot, then you could win some awards for the game and get some cash with the awards. If you win one award then your game will be taken into account for other awards as well.

8. If you win some awards, then people will notice especially big game companies and they might ask you to make games for them on a contract basis or getting paid for every game you create. You might even be asked to make console games!

9. The game, if it gets enough awards and lots of people notice it, it could be turned into a console game and you would earn a lot of money through that, however this can only be turned into a reality with an extremely good game that has the potential to be turned into a console game.

10. You could make a demo version of the game and if people want to play the full version, they have to buy it. This could make a lot of money as if players like the game, they will buy it and you can sell the game as many times as you want making a lot of money.

I hope you take some useful information from this article. Now that was 10 ways to make money from flash games and there are many more in the world, go and discover them!

The Best Way to Copy PlayStation 2 Games

If you are a gaming freak and do not know how to copy PlayStation 2 games, then you would have already invested hundreds of dollars replacing lost or damaged game CDs. But not any more; read through to learn the basics of this process which is quite simple and easy to follow for anybody.

Any original video game CD or DVD comes heavily encrypted. By encryption, I mean the copyright protection codes that are present in the CD. The game manufacturers give these codes to prevent anyone from making these games in duplicate thereby protecting it from piracy. Earlier, there was no way you could get around these codes. But today, luckily for gaming enthusiasts like us, there is specialized software that can break these protection codes enabling us to copy PlayStation 2 games.

So the first step to copy PlayStation 2 games is to acquire the right software. Purchase software that is suitable for your game console from an authorized dealer. It is advisable to obtain software that comes with a free trial period so that you can return it if it does not suit your system. Most software packages come with a step-by-step tutorial which is easy to follow even for a novice.

The next step is to install this software on your PC. Remember to have free space on your memory to enable this process faster. After installation of the software, insert the original game CD to copy all the files. The fourth step to copy PlayStation 2 games is to insert a good quality blank CD or DVD and begin the burning process. Once this is done, you are in possession of a perfect duplicate of your original video game CD.

The process does not end here; a Mod Chip has to be installed on your game console if you actually need to play your backup copy. This process is best left to an expert as a little tinkering with the system is required and if you do not know how, you can cause serious damage to your machine. So, now that you know how to copy PlayStation 2 games, put a stop to further investments by making a copy of all your games.

Stop wasting your hard earned money over replacing video game CDs or DVDs. It is quite simple to copy PlayStation 2 games these days; the right software will do most of the work. So why the wait; learn this backup process today and preserve all your precious games.

My Xbox 360 Won't Read My Games - What Can I Do?

The Xbox 360 is certainly a very powerful console and great fun to play but one of the things that lets it down somewhat is the amount of hardware failures that it suffers from.

You have numerous red light problems, games freezing up and also what this article will tell you about the problem when your DVD drive will not read your games.

What causes the DVD drive to stop reading your games?

Well the problem normally is down to the back of the DVD drive taking too much heat. Just as the other red light problems are caused by overheating on the main chips the GPU and the CPU, this problem is the same thing except the heat is mainly been taken by the DVD drive!

So quite simply put, you need to find a way to stop the DVD sensors at the back taking so much heat and one of the ways you can do this is send it back to Microsoft and they will do for you. This is a very good choice the only problem being with the waiting time, you are normally find that you have to wait up to six weeks to get your repaired console back.

You can of course fix the problem yourself if you get a good Xbox 360 repair guide which will show you with videos and text the steps that you need to carry out to stop the motherboard from taking so much heat.

As long as you make sure you find a good guide that has a complete guarantee and also gives you a full range of repair fixes and a preview of the videos so you know what you will be getting you can't really go wrong and if you are outside warranty then it is better than paying out $140 and having to wait six weeks to get it fixed!

I hope this article has helped explain why you get a mysterious message when you put one of your Xbox 360 games in the drive and how you can fix it!

Happy gaming!

How to Burn Xbox 360 Games Using ImgBurn

imgBurn is a freeware tool which allows you to burn all sorts of CDs, DVDs and Blu-Ray discs. It works for PC CDs, music CDs and even Xbox 360 games, and here's how to burn your 360 games with it.

Before you can burn any Xbox 360 game, you first need to get the ISO and DVD files that will be used to burn the disc. These files are crucial and can either be ripped off your game CD or downloaded from the Internet. After you have the ISO and .DVD file for the game you want to burn, you then need to install imgBurn on your system. This is pretty simple and the software can be downloaded from imgburn.com.

Once you have the software installed, you then need to open up the .dvd file for your game. In there, there will be a LAYER BREAK number, which you need to copy to your clip board with CRTL+C. Copy it and then open up imgBurn and find the "options" panel at the top of the screen. Open up the options Window and then find the "layer break" setting, where you will then need to paste that number with CRTL+V.

After you've pasted the layer break number into the settings, you can close them and return to the imgburn main screen (the layer break is where the burner stops burning one layer and moves onto the next layer of the dual layer DVD). On the main screen, you then need to click the "Burn From Image" button, which will then open a new screen, which will prompt you to open an ISO file. Open the game file that you have and then proceed to change the 'write speed' of the program to 4X. This will give the highest success rate. After that, you just need to click on the big button on the bottom left of the screen to get it to burn.

Most computers will take around 40 minutes to burn the game, but if you've done it right, it should end and be successful. This means that you now have an Xbox game burnt onto a blank DVD, congratulations! However, in order to play the game, you need to do some other things to your PC and console which aren't much, but are crucial.

Teaching Grammar With Fun Learning Games

Teaching English grammar can be hard going - for the teacher and the students. It doesn't have to be difficult or painful, however. You can teach English grammar using fun learning games and before you know it your students will be more than willing. How does it work, you ask. Well, there has been a movement away from the traditional methods of teaching English grammar through writing, rewriting and worksheets to using a more active approach through games. Researchers have also begun to look at how and why these new methods work.

Four sound reasons to teach grammar with games

1. Arif Saricoban and Esen Metin, authors of "Songs, Verse and Games for Teaching Grammar" explain how and why games work for teaching grammar in an ESL classroom. They say, "Games and problem-solving activities, which are task-based and have a purpose beyond the production of correct speech, are the examples of the most preferable communicative activities." They go on to explain that grammar games help children not only gain knowledge but be able to apply and use that learning.

2. Additionally, games have the advantage of allowing the students to "practice and internalise vocabulary, grammar and structures extensively." They can do this because students are often more motivated to play games than they are to do desk work. Plus, during the game, the students are focused on the activity and end up absorbing the language subconsciously. One can also add that fun learning games usually contain repetition, which allows the language to stick.

3. While games are motivating for the students, probably the best reason, according to Saricoban and Metin, to use games is that "the use of such activities both increases the cooperation and competition in the classroom." One can use games to add excitement through competition or games which create bonding among students and teacher.

4. Aydan Ersoz, author of "Six Games for the ESL/EFL Classroom" also explains more reasons why games do work for teaching grammar. Learning a language requires constant effort and that can be tiring. Ersoz says games can counter this as because:

* Games that are amusing and challenging are highly motivating.

* Games allow meaningful use of the language in context.

Children are more motivated to learn grammar with games

The theory of intrinsic motivation also gives some insight as to why teaching grammar through games actually works. Intrinsic motivation refers to the internal factors that encourage us to do something. Most young learners will not internally decide that they want to learn grammar. They don't yet understand the concepts of why it's important to know proper grammar, so these external factors won't affect them much either. Instead, intrinsic motivation can lead encourage them to play games. If these games are good then they will be learning while they are playing.

Using some movement is crucial because movement helps activate the students' mental capacities and stimulate neural networks, thus promoting learning and retention. If you have a large class with no space you still have options. Children can stand up, sit down, move various body parts and pass things around to each other. Movement does not only mean children tearing around the playground.

What Kinds of Games Work Best?

When you are looking for games to use in your classroom, don't just pick something to be a "time filler" which does not have a definite linguistic outcome. These games may entertain the students, but when you don't have much time with them each day as it is, you want your game to do double duty to get the most out of the time you spend playing games.

Have a clear linguistic outcome for each game. The game can be a listening game to allow the students to repeatedly hear a new grammatical structure in use, or it can be a speaking game to allow practise of the grammar once it has been absorbed through listening beforehand. There are degrees of difficulty with speaking games from basic repetition in a fun context to more creative sentence creation for revision or more advanced practise once the basics have been mastered. The teacher should lead the children through this progression so that the game at hand is always well within the grasp of the students. This makes games fun rather than laborious. It is a mistake to play a speaking game immediately after the new grammar has been presented. Ideally reading, spelling and writing games come after the new grammar has been absorbed and the students can use it orally.

Another thing to watch out for with grammar games is that a maximum of students are involved simultaneously. If you have thirty children you want to avoid a game where only one child is speaking at a time. What are the other twenty-nine children supposed to do in the meantime other than get bored? On the other end of the scale however are games that cause chaos in class and make teachers unpopular with colleagues because of high noise levels. A variety of suitable games are available for you to try free in the resource box below the article.

Now you can stop the eye-rolling and complaining from your students when you even THINK about teaching them a grammar lesson, and have some productive fun.

Free Online Toddler Games For 3 Year Olds

There are so many online game sites out there that are supposed to be good sites for toddlers to play games on. However, some of them are not easy to navigate and not all of them are free. I have found quite a few different online sites that allow my 3 year old toddler to stay occupied for hours - games that are both educational and fun.

Most of these game sites require that your child knows how to use a mouse. Your child doesn't necessarily need to master the skill of using a mouse because many of the games that are available to him or her will spark an interest - creating a desire to learn how to use a mouse.

Included in the list of game sites are popular characters like Elmo, Mickey Mouse, Thomas the Engine, and much more. There are not only games that your children can interact with, but also movies they can watch, music they can listen to, activities they can print out, and much more.

Some of the educational materials that your child can learn via these free sites are:
Learn their ABC's
Learn how to count
Learn how to spell
Learn how to match
Learn how to recognize colors
Learn Spanish

That is only a few of the things that your child can learn via free online toddler sites. Basic skills that all parents want their child to know are easy to learn with these various sites. So, sit down with your toddler, introduce him or her to the sites, and then watch him have fun learning something new!

Kid Birthday Party Games - Pre-Teens

Pre-teens are no longer wanting to play kiddie games but are not yet teenagers. They will not want to play running games yet are not really ready to just hang out. Here are some ideas for your pre-teen party.

Untie the Knot

Place the guests in two separate circles. Ask them to raise a hand and take hold of someone's hand on the opposite side of their circle. Then, using their free hand, grab the hand of a different person close by. Without letting go they must try unravel themselves. The first team to do so is the winner.

Matching Characters

Identify couples from real life or fiction like Lady Di and Charles, Peter Pan and Wendy or Willie Wonka and Charlie. Place a piece of paper on each persons' back identifying them. Each person then asks 1 question from every other person till they discover who they are. They may only ask questions such as am I male or female, a fictional character or real person, dead or alive, etc. Once they identify themself, they can start looking for their partners. The winners are the first matching couple.

Toilet Paper Game

This is a wonderful ice breaker - especially if the guests don't know each other well. As each guest arrives ask them to take a strip of toilet paper off a roll. When everyone is there get the guests to sit in a circle. Starting with the birthday person, each person must reveal something about themselves equal to the number of squares they tore off. You could also pass a bowl of sweets around. Tell each guest to take a hand full. They must tell a secret for each sweet they took.

Balloon Defense

Tie a balloon to each persons' ankle. The idea is to try stamp on each other's balloons to pop them without having yours burst. Here are tons more wonderful balloon games.

Note for Note

Have a selection of popular CD's (preferably of mixed artists) and a CD player which allows you to fast forward to the middle of a song. Press play anywhere in the middle of a song and play for 2 seconds. Whoever identifies the song first gets a toothpick. The one with the most toothpicks in the end wins. You could have them identify the song or artist.

Questions and Answers

Get each person to write a way-out question on a piece of paper. Fold and place in a bowl. Ask them to write a line from their favorite song on another piece of paper. These are the answers. Pass the questions around and let every one take one. Each person gets a turn to read their question, then take an "answer" from the second bowl and sing it if they know the song. Some really hilarious answers to questions come out! And strange versions to songs too.

Stork the lantern

This game is played best outside at night. One child is "it" and sits with a flashlight or lantern. They must look at the light. The other children move out into the dark. They try get as close to the lantern as possible. The person with the light tries to listen for noises or spot movement. Then they can look up and say something like "I see you with the red shirt". That person then sits down. The child that gets the closest to the lantern wins.

Bubble blowing

No not just any bubbles but big odd shaped bubbles. You will need a good bubble solution [http://www.perfect-party-ideas.com/blowing-bubble.html] and shaped wire to create these huge bubbles.

Use these ideas, they are sure to be a hit.

How To Play PSP Download Games

Like many others who had purchased original PSP games from the retail outlets, you will realize that as the games is completed, buying new games seem to be getting expensive and unaffordable. What else can I do if I want to continue to play new or old fashioned games on my PSP console? I start search and looking for website that offers free PSP download games.

Once I had downloaded the PSP games onto my console, how to play PSP download games was my next question. I'm not sure exactly how PSP works when I download new PSP games onto the unit, but I sure have found some
answers while I was looking for it. Since I'm facing and struggling with this problem on how to play PSP download games on my unit, lots of other people must be also getting the same problem.

Hope that I get this right for everyone to play PSP download games because I used the same method here to play on my console. Before we get started, I'm using a PSP unit with firmware of 1.5 and having a Sony PSP
compatible memory stick pro duo.

Since you are going to download the PSP games, you must download the games for the correct version of firmware, if not it will not work. Newer version of the firmware is available to anyone from the PSP official website. Most homebrew PSP games works with firmware 1.5 and below because the newer firmware upgrade is trying to block people from using homebrew games. Make sure the games you are downloading ends with PSP because only PSP files are compatible with Sony PSP unit.

And for firmware upgrade at anytime, you may need to download a newer version of the games to be compatible with the firmware. Otherwise error messages like "The data is corrupted" or "The game would not be started" will display on your PSP screen.

Once the PSP games are downloaded, connect the PSP to your computer by using the USB cable that comes with the PSP console. Change your PSP console into PSP mode by pressing the "Home" button. Next scroll left to
the "Setting" column and scroll down until "USB Connection". Press "X" button to enter PSP into USB mode.

To download the PSP games into your console, the games must be copied and downloaded onto the correct folder in order for the games to work. And the correct path is PSP > GAME in order for the any PSP games to work correctly. If the "PSP" and "GAME" folder does not exist on your PSP memory stick, you need to manually create the folder with folder name in ALL CAPS.

Once you have finished downloading or transferring the games onto the PSP memory stick, you can disconnect your PSP from the computer. From the PSP console main menu, scroll over to the "GAME" column on your Sony
PSP and continue to scroll down on the memory stick. Press "X" and a list of game files will be displayed. Scroll downward and you will be able to see the games you have just installed.

Press "X" again to confirm your selection and play the PSP games. I had tried to practice the steps above many times in my PSP and it worked all the time. Hopefully it will also work for your console too.

What are Guitar Flash Games?

Basically, these are games designed with Flash technology which are similar in style and fun to the types of games being played by millions of people on their home consoles. Some of these guitar flash games have even been modeled after some of the most popular rhythm-based console games, even including some of the same songs.

Another benefit is the price. Guitar flash games are available for little or no cost on the Internet while console versions are going to set you back $50 to $60 just for the game and an additional $60 to $80 if you want peripherals.

Being the Rock Star

No matter which type of guitar flash games you choose you'll find they are a great way to release some of the inner rock star you've been keeping bottled up inside. You could rock out to a song while you're on hold with a client or while you're chatting with friends at your favorite social networking site.

Dress Up Games for Girls and Why I Love Them

I love dress up games, they are so much fun. I have to confess though that I am not in my teens. I am in my mid 20s and I think that there is nothing wrong in playing that kind of online games despite of a lot of people thinking otherwise.

I got hooked up recently when I saw my niece playing one of them online. If I am not mistaken she was dressing up Justin Bieber. I am not a fan of his but the idea of putting together different dresses, shoes and hairstyles to make one of a kind look is appealing.

Maybe because when I was growing up I wanted to become a fashion designer I got so hooked on these dress up games. Anyhow, I started spending more and more time online dressing up celebrities like Lady GaGa and Usher.

And not only that - I started taking screen shots of my creations and sending them to my female friends - they loved them and soon enough they started sending me their creations. We are trying to outdo each other and it was so fun to compare and discuss what we have done.

I want to share a secret with you - I want some of these celebrities that I have been dressing up to see what I have done. Who knows - they might like them and hire me to be in charge of their wardrobe, you never know.

But until then I will keep playing my dress up games and have fun

Sunday School Games

Some teachers don't have any idea of the importance of Sunday school games! Using games in order to teach lessons is always effective! Kids enjoy winning and as a result, they'll pay attention. Therefore, using information about Christianity as a token to win the game is an A+ way to get the info across to your students!

Along with learning information about the Bible, religious school is also for learning about other people and learning to love everyone for who they are. "The Colors of Life" is a perfect activity to do on the 1st day of class. You'll need a bag of M&M's. Each kid will take a handful. Once everyone has some, you'll assign a different meaning for each color. For example, blue=family, green=activities, yellow=friends, red=school, and brown=random facts. Whatever number of each color the kids have is the amount of facts about each subject that they must share with the class. After they share their personal facts, they must give an example of from the Bible. For example, if a student has a blue and they say they have a brother, they must give an example of a brother-brother or brother-sister relationship from the Bible. After each kid shares a fact, allow them to eat the M&M of that color!

A short Sunday School game called "Hot Bricks" deals with the Ten Commandments. This game is sort of like "Hot Potato" but you'll use a toy brick. Play music. When the music stops, the person that's holding the toy needs to state one of the commandments. If they cannot think of one, they're out. This game is short and simple but it helps the kids to memorize the Ten Commandments!

"Word Builder" is a Sunday school game that helps with keywords from the Bible. You'll divide the class into two teams. Each team must have a different colored piece of chalk. Begin by writing one word that's relevant to the Bible on the chalkboard. The 1st team must make another word using the original word in the same fashion that they would in a game of Scrabble. However, all of the words must be related to Christianity. The game goes on until one of the teams cannot think of any more words. The team with the most words wins.

"Bible Win, Lose or Draw" is a Sunday school game that's fun for everybody. Divide the group into two teams. You'll have one person from each team come up at a time. They'll pick a Bible story out of a bowl and then draw it for their team. The team has one minute to guess what story is being drawn. If the team doesn't guess, then the other team has 10 seconds to collaborate and then announce 1 guess. The group that answers correctly (if any) gets 10 points. Anyone that can tell where the story came from gets an additional 5 points for their team. "Bible Win, Lose or Draw" is endlessly entertaining.

Sunday School games don't have to be boring trivia games! Introducing games like these to your class will let them learn and have a great time doing so. Your students will truly look forward to coming to class!

Cheap Wii Games

If your looking to find deals on Wii games, you may want to consider renting Wii games online. It's not something new. Some of the original online game rental companies have been around since 2002, and are still going strong. More and more people are trying it every day. There are a number of other advantages to renting Wii games online besides saving money.

One is convenience. The rental companies make it as simple as possible. You sign up online, create a list of your favorite Wii games, and the company starts shipping you games to play. When your done playing the game(s), simply send them back in the postage paid envelope provided by the rental company. The next game on your list is then shipped to you. They pay for shipping both ways. You can play the game for as long as you like, and return whenever your ready. It's the same price if you keep it for a day, or keep it for a week. There are no late fees.

The other nice thing about rentals, is you don't have to worry about being stuck with a game that turns out to be a lemon after you've paid $60 for it. Of course, if you find you really like a game and want to keep it, that's OK to. You can then buy the game for usually ten to twenty dollars cheaper than what you pay for it new. Imagine having a shelf full of games you really enjoy playing over and over. Instead of a shelf full of game boxes covered in dust, that you don't even remember buying. Or maybe your one of those who hate the clutter of games lying around taking up space. Then renting is perfect you.

The bottom line is, you can play all the games you want for one low monthly payment. So, basically you play more, and spend less.
